Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks (26 weeks preferred)

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the team in Bakersfield, CA. This role focuses on supporting students’ functional and academic success through therapeutic interventions, collaboration, and individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
Evaluate students’ functional status and develop individualized treatment goals
Plan and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions within school settings
Coordinate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Provide education and training to caregivers, families, and staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
Participate in IEP meetings and care conferences as required
Requirements
Active California OT License
Previous school-based therapy experience required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities
Background in developing individualized care and early intervention strategies
