Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of OR experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit
• 3x 12-hour day shifts per week
• 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license, Single State or Compact (CO or Compact required)
• BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for unit or service
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Operating Room specialty required
• ASN required, from an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
• Epic EMR charting experience

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for OR patients
• Performs health teaching, health counseling, and delegated medical functions
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system and abides by service behavior standards
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
