Job Summary

Operating Room (OR), Augusta, Georgia This position supports surgical services in a collaborative operating room environment. The role requires orthopedic experience, including major joint procedures, along with general, urology, and minor vascular surgical experience. The position includes day shifts, call rotation, weekend rotation, and potential float assignments when operating rooms are closed.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with 45 call shifts every 4 weeks and weekend rotation. The schedule is not fixed but is expected to be reasonable.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience; orthopedic experience required, including major joint procedures; experience with general surgery, open and cystoscopic urology procedures, and minor vascular procedures; major vascular experience is a plus; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Supports a broad range of surgical cases, excluding open-heart, transplant, and eye procedures.
  • Requires strong orthopedic surgical skills.
