American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Santa Rosa, California.

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Variable start times may include 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Weekend coverage required. On-call distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks, up to 6-8 shifts per 6-week period including nights, evenings, and weekends (8-hour shifts). May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed.

  • Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation

  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
  • Advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and robotic surgery capabilities
  • 91-day travel assignment with opportunity to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements:

  • Active California RN license (must be in hand, pending licenses not accepted)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of recent OR nursing experience
  • Trauma Level I experience required with demonstrated competency in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho cases
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Extensive OR skills including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general surgery, GU, and GYN procedures
  • Willingness to float between affiliated facilities as needed
  • Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
  • Time off requests must be submitted at time of application
