Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) in Boston, MA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on various surgical specialties, including neuro, ortho, trauma, and kidney transplants. We are looking for skilled RNs with the experience necessary to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting.

This role guarantees 72 hours biweekly, excluding any on-call time worked. The position primarily operates on the West Main campus, with potential floating to the East or CVI OR. While there is no call required, you may need to work holidays and weekends as part of the rotation. Orientation is conducted weekly, every Monday barring a holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and/or circulate for general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, urology, and organ procurement.
• Care for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures, including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants.

Requirements:

• Experience in neuro, ortho, trauma, and kidney transplant procedures.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers accepted).
• Travelers who have worked for the facility as permanent or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted; a six-month separation is required.

• Parking may cost up to $43/day in some cases.
