Description
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Specialty
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekend coverage is required, likely only on Friday nights. No on-call duties.
Job Description
The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery. The nurse will work within a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room environment.
- Perform nursing assessments and provide care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting.
- At least 2 traveler contract experience preferred.
- Current SC/Compact Nursing License.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in pediatric and/or women's surgery is preferred.
