Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-call expected up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks | Up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks | At least one holiday period required (Christmas or New Year's)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a broad range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced, high-volume OR environment
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and patient charting
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units or sister facilities as required
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency surgical cases as needed
• Be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license required (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• BLS certification required
• Radiation Badge required (provided by agency)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching hospital environment
