Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent OR specialty experience and on-call availability for a 12-hour day shift contract.

Details

• Operating Room (660C Surgery) setting within a hospital
• Schedule varies 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• On-call requirements apply
• Deferred schedule type

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the OR specialty

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not considered
• Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
