Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with at least 2 years of recent OR experience and expertise across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Surgery unit on the ground floor of a hospital setting
• 12-hour evening shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule runs Monday-Friday 10:45 AM-11:15 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Expertise required across multiple surgical specialties including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
