Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM with Variable Call Schedule | Every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulating RN across a 15-suite OR department supporting service lines including ortho, burn, plastics, gynecology, urology, spine, trauma, and general surgery
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care throughout all phases of the surgical experience
• Operate and manage service line-specific equipment for orthopedic, burn, spine, urology, trauma, robotics, and plastics procedures
• Follow AORN guidelines and adhere to all facility and unit policies
• Collaborate with charge nurses, team leads, surgical techs, anesthesia techs, and PCAs as part of a multidisciplinary OR team
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Trauma OR experience
• Minimum 1 year of Orthopedic OR experience
• Ability to work a variable call schedule, every other weekend, and holidays in rotation with facility staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Burn or plastic surgery OR experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team player with a positive attitude in a fast-paced surgical environment
