Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively within a surgical department setting
• Participate in an intermittent call rotation, including weekday call coverage and weekend on-call availability (Saturday and Sunday, 7a–7p); weekend scheduled hours are emergency on-call only
• Adhere to holiday on-call expectations as applicable; facility is closed most major holidays with emergency on-call coverage required
• Maintain patient safety and clinical standards throughout all phases of surgical care

Required Qualifications

• Current Indiana or multistate RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Proof of required vaccinations: Hepatitis B series or positive titer, MMR series or positive titer, Varicella series or positive titer or physician's written proof of immunity, Tdap within the past 10 years, annual Flu vaccine (required October 1–April 1, no exemptions for contracted employees), COVID-19 vaccine documentation if applicable, and two TB skin tests, one Quantiferon Gold, or one chest X-ray within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with conscious sedation (please indicate at time of submission if applicable)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical environment with on-call responsibilities
