Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a high-volume OR environment with 18 operating rooms, including trauma-designated rooms and evening coverage
• Deliver care primarily to adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases across a broad range of service lines including neuro, thoracic, general, ortho, plastics, robotics, GYN, ENT, urology, trauma, and vascular
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department; call shifts are typically minimal within a 13-week rotation
• Adapt to a combination of 10- and 12-hour shifts and float between sister facilities nearby as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of OR RN experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience (or greater) required
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience preferred
• Experience in one or more service lines: neuro, thoracic, general, ortho, plastics, robotics, GYN, ENT, pediatrics, urology, trauma, or vascular
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
