Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring at least 1 year of trauma OR and ortho experience.

Details

• 15 OR suite unit within a Level II Trauma Center
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Handles ortho, burn, plastics, gyn, urology, spine, trauma, and general surgery cases
• OR service line equipment used for ortho, burn, spine, urology, trauma, general, robotics, and gyn procedures
• Meditech EMR used
• Shift runs 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM with a variable call schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required in line with hospital employees

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of trauma OR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of ortho experience required
• Burn or plastics experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• Two professional references required for Florida-based positions

Additional Information

• Follows AORN guidelines
• Team includes charge nurses, team leads, circulators, techs, anesthesia techs, and PCAs on day shift, with a charge nurse and CST on night shift
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Looking for team players with a positive attitude
