Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
• Operate and assist with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system, functioning independently without refresher training
• Fulfill on-call obligations within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time required
• Work weekend shifts as assigned within a 6-week matrix; weekend shifts may fall on days, evenings, or nights
• Float to other areas as needed and work holidays as assigned, which may include day, evening, or night shifts
• May care for patients who are COVID-positive

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license — no license hits accepted
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robotic system; must be able to function independently across robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Must be able to function independently in all listed surgical specialties with no need for refresher training
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with the Da Vinci 5 (DV5) robotic system
• EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
• Level I Trauma background (minimum Level II with more than 1 year of experience required)
• Ability to both scrub and circulate preferred
