Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 3+ years of OR experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.

Details

• Operating Room unit with 16 ORs in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Shift hours from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• 26-week assignment length
• Weekend call required on a rotating basis
• Major and minor holiday coverage assigned

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Experience in ortho, neuro, robotics, and plastics procedures preferred
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a high-volume, multi-specialty OR unit
• Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility-specific radius requirements
