Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 4x10 day shift position requiring 2+ years of OR and Epic experience plus neurosurgery background.

Details

• Surgical Services unit performing operating room procedures
• 4x10's day shift schedule, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• May be required to take weekend and holiday call
• On-call requirements of 6-8 calls per month
• Uses MAZOR robot, stealth navigation, O-arm, and ROSA equipment
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact)
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• OR neurosurgery experience required, brain and spine experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Preferred experience includes DaVinci Robot, vascular, orthopedics, trauma, bariatrics, oncology, thoracic, urology, plastics, and breast procedures
• Blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
