Description

American Traveler is hiring an Operating Room RN for a day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and WA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Operating Room unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Surgical specialties include gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, ENT, and vascular procedures
• Work settings may include general OR, neurology, ENT, and vascular surgery cases
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating between sister facilities may be required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• Must disclose any prior work history with Providence-affiliated facilities

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and surgical support across a variety of general and specialty surgical procedures
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Local candidates accepted at the standard bill rate
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for local candidate consideration
• Former Providence perm employees must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify
