We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Olney, MD. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and effective surgical operations.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of 2 years of General Surgery experience required.
• Travel experience is required.
• Certifications: BLS required.
• Flu vaccine is mandatory for all employees.

Shift details include two Day 5x8-Hour shifts (06:45 - 15:15 and 10:45 - 19:15) and the possibility of on-call shifts. Travelers will be expected to take up to five (5) 12-hour call shifts per six-week scheduling period, primarily on weekends.

Scrubs will be provided. Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate; please reach out for local rates.
