Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required at least every other weekend, may exceed based on unit needs. Call required, estimated 70-90 hours per 6-week period, split evenly among staff. Weekend/holiday call coverage 07:00 - 07:00.

• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Lift Teams, and Pharmacy
• Free parking and professional scrubs provided for OR staff
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and cell saver equipment
• Daily census of approximately 20 patients across all age groups

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required (3 years preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; no first-time travelers
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
• Comprehensive OR skills including general surgery, orthopedic/spine, robotics, laparoscopic procedures, and total joint replacements
• LA fire card required within the last 30 days
• Must be willing to float between main OR and outpatient surgery center
• Ability to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
