Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for the Operating Room, requiring at least 1 year of recent OR experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Main OR unit of a hospital setting
• 284-bed facility with approximately 55 OR staff
• Day shift staffed with 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech
• Night shift staffed with 1 RN, 1 Tech, plus 2 on-call RNs and 2 on-call Techs
• Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:2, estimated but not guaranteed
• Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
• Meditech/CPN EMR system used
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• On-call required from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no overnight on-call
• Typical procedures include Vascular/Hybrid OR, Trauma, and Neuro cases

Requirements

• Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of current OR RN experience required
• Experience in large Trauma OR facilities preferred
• Robotics experience highly preferred and given priority
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform OR nursing duties supporting vascular, hybrid, trauma, and neuro procedures
• Scrubs are provided for OR RNs and CSTs; outside scrubs are not permitted
• Self-motivated candidates with a positive, team-oriented attitude are best suited for this role
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
