Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level I Trauma Center requiring charge experience and a minimum of 4 years in specialty.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Operating Room unit treating infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• On-call responsibilities required, details discussed during interview
• Epic charting preferred but other EMR experience accepted

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required in hand to apply
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 4 years of OR nursing experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency in at least 3 of the following 4 surgical specialties: General, Orthopedic, Gynecology, and Trauma
• Experience in pediatric surgical cases and scrub role preferred

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across general, orthopedic, gynecologic, and trauma surgical procedures
• Work within a Level I Trauma Center surgical environment
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered
• Blackout dates for RTO include 11/26, 12/25, and 1/01
