Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring CA RN licensure and ACLS/PALS certification.

Details

• Work in the Surgery unit of a 173-bed acute care hospital
• Evening shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week (0645-1515)
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC approved vendor)
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR specialty experience required
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the OR specialty required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegate duties appropriately and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction; local rates match travel rates
