1. Job Overview
Position: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse
Experience: Not specified
License: Current Illinois RN license
Certifications: BLS/CPR and ACLS
Primary Requirement: Must be able to circulate in the OR.
Position Urgency: Normal
2. Required Skills
OR circulating experience — mandatory
Heavy orthopedic procedures
Urology procedures
Spine procedures
Robotic-assisted procedures
Patient assessment and clinical judgment
Recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
Accurate medical documentation
Patient and family education
Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
3. Schedule & Call Requirements
Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
Timings: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
Call: Required
One weeknight per month
Two weekend days per month
Additional call may be required depending on departmental needs
Floating: May float to other facilities if needed
4. Facility & Compliance Notes
Must hold a current Illinois RN license.
BLS/CPR and ACLS are listed.
