Job Description

Our client, a renowned Level I Trauma Center, is looking for an RN - Operating Room to start immediately in New Haven, CT. This position requires onsite presence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care in operating rooms, focusing on GYN, ENT, Plastics, General, and Ophthalmology procedures.
  • Assist in robotic surgeries and manage occasional weekend calls and shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is preferred.
