Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level I trauma Operating Room float position requiring an active MA RN license and rotating day/evening shifts with weekends and call.

Details

• Operating Room float unit position within a Level I trauma hospital
• 4x10 or 4x12 rotational schedule covering day and evening shifts
• Day shift options: 7a-5:30p Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri with 9a-7:30p Wed for 4x10, or 7a-7:30p Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri with 9a-9:30p Wed for 4x12
• Evening shift options: 1p-11p for 4x10 or 11a-11p for 4x12
• Scheduled on days when not needed for evening coverage
• Weekend shifts scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours
• Call requirements included
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required for license
• AHA-certified BLS and relevant certifications required
• Level I trauma OR experience required
• Experience with Epic charting

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care as part of an OR float team supporting multiple surgical services
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates permitted with permanent residence within 60 miles of the Boston facility
• Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public lots available
