- Schedule: Must be willing to work 8-hour and 10-hour shifts as needed.

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; previous PACU experience is required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS; RN state license and required nursing competency exams.
- Patient Population: Postoperative patients recovering from surgery and general anesthesia; all age groups except neonates.
- Unit Capacity: 8 PACU beds plus 1 isolation room.
- Patient Ratio: Based on ASPAN standards; may be 1:1, 1:2, or 2:1.
- Equipment: Cardiac monitors, IV equipment, SCDs, nasal oxygen, Omnicell, and blanket warmers.
- EHR: Meditech experience preferred.
- Call Requirement: Yes, typically once per week and every 3–4 weekends.
- Floating: Not routinely required, but may assist other surgical services areas when needed.
- Scrubs: No specific color requirement.
- Preferred Experience: ICU experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Package: $1,729.00/week.
