Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | One required late shift per week | One on-call shift per week | On-call weekends expected approximately every 6 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions in the PACU setting
• Assess, document, and manage patient recovery including pain management, airway maintenance, and hemodynamic stability
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one on-call shift per week and one call weekend approximately every six weeks
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure safe and timely patient transitions

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• On-call availability is required for this position
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical Care training or background preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
