Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location– Bangor, Maine
Start Date: October and Mid November
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The RN will work under unit leadership and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
Monitor vital signs and identify post-operative complications.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 year of PACU nursing experience
Current Maine RN license or compact license.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred.
BLS: Current or obtained within 30 days of hire.
ACLS: Current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
PALS: Current or obtained within 1 year of hire.
Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
