Travel Paramedic - $40 to $43 per hour in Sparks, NV

AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Paramedic in Sparks, Nevada, 89431!

The Paramedic will provide onsite
emergency medical and first-aid services, supporting the health and safety
of employees at the worksite. Responsibilities may include:

• Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment 
• Respond to workplace medical emergencies and injuries
• Provide first aid and stabilization as needed
• Assess patients and determine appropriate level of care
• Perform BLS, ACLS and PALS interventions when appropriate
• Coordinate EMS activation and patient transport when necessary
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities
• Follow applicable medical protocols, safety procedures and

Client policies 

• Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information
• Work collaboratively with onsite safety/medical personnel and emergency responders

Required Experience & Certifications


Previous EHS Paramedic / Onsite Medical/ First Aid experience is required or strongly preferred.

Highly Desired

• Nevada State Paramedic License
• CEVO (Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator)
• EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course)
• Previous EHS / Occupational Health / Onsite Medical experience 
• Experience providing medical support in an industrial or large workplace environment

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced,
professional Paramedic who is comfortable working independently in an onsite
occupational/EHS environment. Candidates should be confident assessing and
treating medical emergencies, documenting patient encounters, communicating
with employees and management, and coordinating with outside emergency services
when necessary.
