Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital Med-Surg/PCU Step Down unit
• Traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest need, which may be a PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry unit based on skill set
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set, including to sister sites within a 40-mile radius
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (both must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required
• Full Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address

Additional Information

• Will accept either a Med-Surg or Step Down RN — credentialing requirements are the same for both
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
