Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN Step Down with 2+ years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and current EPIC proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in a Nursing Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Placement on either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on traveler's skill set and facility need
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• 13-week assignment length
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license/certificate verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Valid driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Full Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on facility need
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
