Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting with a patient ratio of 1:5
Care for a large cardiac population across telemetry and PCU floors, including patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation using Meditech EMR
Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
Collaborate with RNs and CNAs across day and night shifts to ensure continuity of care

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Flexibility and willingness to float to various inpatient units

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Chemotherapy certification (opportunity to be scheduled on Oncology unit)
Strong team-player mentality with demonstrated compassion in patient care
