Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting with a focus on a large cardiac population, including telemetry monitoring
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 during both day and night shifts
Collaborate with RNs and CNAs across multiple inpatient units including Med/Tele and Rehab
Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Perform varied procedures across units, caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care PCU experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Willingness and ability to float to multiple inpatient units

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Chemotherapy certification (opportunity to be scheduled on Oncology unit)
Experience caring for cardiac and oncology patient populations
