Central Expressway - Floor: 3S/PCU - Building: Heart Building/Pavilion I - **Unit Profile:** - Number of Beds: 24 - Number of Staff: 43 - Staff Composition: - Day Shift: 24 Patients (1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, and US) - Night Shift: 24 Patients (1 Charge RN, 8 RNs) - Patient Ratios: 1:3 - Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Hillrom, iMobile with Apple, telemetry - EMR: Meditech - **Desired Skills:** - Must-Haves: - Accountability for actions - Knowledge of cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Cardizem) - Preferred: - Excellent communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary team - 6 months of PCU experience - **Procedures You Will Perform:** - Post-operative care for CABG, AVR/MVR, aortic root repairs, LVAD, and immediate post VATS (chest tubes) - Post-vascular surgeries, pre/post catheter lab, and EP procedures (pacemaker/AICD, heart caths, PCIs, TAVR) - Bedside procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC insertion) - **Ideal Candidate Personality:** - Caring and compassionate - Collaborative team player - **Required Certifications:** - BLS, ACLS - **Floating Areas:** - Med-Surg/Tele, Ortho - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Royal Blue - **Work Schedule:** - 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
