• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
• Floating: Required within the organization as needed
• Weekend Commitment: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CPI, and NIHSS required
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong IV start and telemetry monitoring skills
• Ability to work independently in a float pool environment
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Professional references required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients across multiple units as assigned
• Monitor telemetry rhythms, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Perform IV starts, manage peripheral access, and support medication administration and treatment plans
• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with a range of medical and surgical needs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication throughout the shift
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs while maintaining excellent patient care standards
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment and uphold best practices in bedside nursing
