Travel RN - PCU | $2,448 /Week (Blended w/ Stipend) | 40 hours/week
 

Job Details:

Location: Ann Arbor, MI, 48106

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work Thanksgiving and one additional winter holiday.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Must be comfortable caring for high-acuity surgical step-down patients.
• ICU background is highly preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Unit Overview

• 2 East is a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical step-down unit.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 4:1, occasionally 3:1.
• Nurses with ICU experience tend to do well in this environment.

Devices & Patient Care Experience
Candidates must be comfortable managing:

• Chest tubes
• Arterial lines
• PICC lines and other central lines
• Ostomies
• Tracheostomies (Trachs)
• NG tubes
• Wound vacs
• Various other drains

Drips & IV Infusions
Candidates must be comfortable administering and managing:

• Heparin
• Insulin
• Nitroglycerin (Nitro)
• Amiodarone
• Cardizem (Diltiazem)
