Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant specialty experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
• Background check and drug screen results required, with timely reporting expected to avoid start date delays
