Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

PCU RN — Travel Contract
- Length: 13 weeks or longer, with assignments available through February 27
- Shift: 12-hour nights; 36- or 48-hour weeks may be available
- Experience: At least 2 years; first-time travelers accepted
- Openings: 1
- Locals: Accepted
- Ratios: Typically 1:3; may be 1:3–4
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no block scheduling
- Floating: Required to a sister ICCU unit
Required certifications and experience: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and NIH certification; strong experience titrating vasoactive drips, managing arterial lines, telemetry and dysrhythmias, rapid response, IV starts, and conscious sedation. Other required skills include IV insulin and heparin protocols, blood products, central lines, PICCs, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, tracheostomies, and isolation precautions.
Other details: Epic and Pyxis systems; navy or white scrubs. Must be available for classes each day during the first week of hospital orientation and pass EKG testing before starting. Flu vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed.
