GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia.
This is a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position, floating to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med-Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby. Candidates must have PICU and NICU experience and be comfortable working with pediatric patients. Previous NICU/PICU float pool experience is considered.
Clinical review and auto offer available. The position requires 36 or 48 hours per week. Please note that block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. The contract is for 52 weeks, with every other weekend and every other holiday required. Additionally, candidates must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. A maximum of 40 hours can be approved for time off; no requests for time off can be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
Required certifications include BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS. Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred. A minimum of 2 years of PICU experience is required. The Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required but can be submitted with that pending, which has a cost of $185. Candidates must adhere to the facility's float policy and can submit with a Virginia license pending. Epic experience is also required.
