Requested Skill Set
Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric RN experienceBLS
PALS
NRP
Must be comfortable managing:
High-flow oxygen
Spinal fusion patients
Chest tubes
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Meditech experience
Typical Procedures
Nasogastric Tube (NGT) placement/care
Foley catheter placement/care
TP tube management
Peripheral IV (PIV) insertion
Phlebotomy
AccuVein available in the department
Lumbar punctures (LPs) — rare, but may occasionally occur
Ideal Candidate
Comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric department
