Join a leading healthcare provider as a Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. **Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

**Requirements:**

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required.
• Strongly prefer candidates with travel experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Pending licenses accepted; must be active prior to start date.

**Additional Information:**

• Guaranteed hours available.
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
• Average patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:4.
• No holiday requests off (RTO) permitted.
• Local radius restrictions waived for this 10-week assignment.
• Open to accommodating block schedules.

This position is located in a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting, and parking is available at a cost of $125/month.
