Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN with prior PACU or PICU experience for a day shift pediatric unit assignment requiring MA RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Pediatrics unit, specifically Pediatric PACU setting
• Day/early evening shifts, 4x10 hours, with rotating start times of 0800, 0900, 1000, or 1100
• Monday through Friday schedule with weekends optional to accommodate time-off requests
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior PACU or PICU experience required
• Experience with surgery cases and endoscopic/laparoscopic procedures preferred
• Management of pediatric patients experience preferred
• Two professional references required, verified from two different facilities among the last three places worked

• Provide nursing care in a pediatric post-anesthesia care setting
