**Exciting Opportunity: Perioperative / PACU RN Traveler** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic Surgical Services team focused on providing exceptional care! - Embrace the chance to work in diverse areas of the perioperative continuum, including: - Pre-Operative Nursing - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit - Conscious Sedation - Pre-Admission Testing - Post-operative recovery for a variety of surgical procedures: orthopedic, general, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, and interventional pain management - Responsibilities: - Coordinate and provide care for surgical patients throughout pre-operative and post-operative phases - Assess and monitor patients, responding to changes in condition - Administer medications and IV therapies - Manage airways and pain effectively - Provide education for patients and families - Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, circulating nurses, and the surgical team **Required Qualifications — No Exceptions:** - Graduate of an accredited RN program - Current Colorado RN license in good standing - Current AHA BLS certification - ACLS and PALS certification as required by the department - Previous travel nursing experience - Previous Cerner EHR experience - Relevant Pre-Op, PACU, perioperative, Emergency Department, or ICU experience - Ability to independently manage post-anesthesia patients - Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, medication administration, airway management, and patient assessment **Submission Requirements:** - No new graduates will be considered - Candidates without prior traveler experience or Cerner EHR experience will not be considered **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
