Contract | Nights | Onsite | Monday–Friday 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, Saturday–Sunday 8:00 PM–7:00 AM | 7-on/7-off rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight inpatient pharmacy services in an acute care setting
- Utilize EPIC for medication order entry, verification, and clinical documentation
- Operate and manage automated dispensing via Pyxis
- Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP 797 regulations
- Support patient safety and medication management throughout overnight shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist licensure required
- EPIC training and proficiency required
- Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems
- Training and working knowledge of USP 797 regulations and sterile compounding
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
- Comfort working independently during overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with a 7-on/7-off scheduling model
