Key Responsibilities
- Verify and fill orders for medications in a retail pharmacy setting
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information
- Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
- Document all patient interactions for medical review
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or HeartCode BLS (HBLS) or Healthstream BLS (HS-BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or HeartCode ACLS (HACLS) or Healthstream ACLS (HS-ACLS) required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or HeartCode PALS (HPALS) or Healthstream PALS (HS-PALS) required
- All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- One year of technical pharmacy experience
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
