Contract | Rotating Shift | 4x10s, Primarily Nights (8:30 PM – 6:30 AM), with occasional Day Shifts (10:15 AM – 8:45 PM) | Generally 8 days on / 6 days off, including weekends | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and fill orders for medications in an inpatient setting
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical drug information
• Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
• Document all clinical interactions and interventions for medical review
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
• All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience beyond the minimum requirement
• One or more years of pharmacy technician or related technical experience
