Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient specialty role located in Arlington, Texas. This position involves providing inpatient therapy services to adult and older adult patient populations within a long-term acute care hospital setting. The therapist will deliver specialized care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced patient mobilization and treatment techniques to improve patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Texas Physical Therapist license (or PT Compact License), BLS certification, 1+ years of inpatient physical therapy experience; must have graduated from a PT program
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience strongly preferred
- Additional Information: The role involves mobilizing patients with vents, trachs, NG/PEG tubes, IVs, and utilizing various mobility equipment such as cardiac chairs and hoyers. The unit has a capacity of 45 beds, with a mid-20s patient census. The outpatient setting requires outgoing candidates capable of managing a full caseload in a dynamic environment. Dress code includes standard scrubs in purple; headphones or earbuds, artificial nails are not permitted on the floors.
