Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a Long Term Acute Care Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment plans for patients in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to determine patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical function and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas (or PT Compact License).
- BLS Certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an acute care setting, with ICU experience preferred.
