Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for an adult and geriatric inpatient population
• Provide physical therapy services addressing diagnoses including CVA, respiratory and cardiac conditions, amputations, fractures, and joint replacements
• Utilize unit equipment including TENs units, ergometers, parallel bars, and Omnicycle during patient care
• Document patient progress and treatment using Net Health, PRO Doc, and Pro Touch EHR systems
• Maintain a patient caseload at a 5–6:1 ratio on an 11-bed inpatient ARU unit
• Float to LTAC/ARU settings as needed and adhere to call-out policy requiring notification at least 4 hours prior to shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license meeting standard state requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver individualized treatment plans
• Willingness to work every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient or acute care physical therapy experience
• Experience treating patients with CVA, cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic, or amputation-related diagnoses
• Team-oriented and solution-based approach to patient care
