Job Summary:
The outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) position is located in Avondale, Arizona. The role involves providing therapy services to adult and adolescent patients in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based care, including case management and assessments, to facilitate patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid license as a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, with a typical workweek of 40 hours, adaptable between 5x8 or 4x10 shift arrangements.
- Responsibilities include treatment planning, patient assessments such as Gross Motor Assessments, and implementing interventions for conditions like Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Post-Operative Back Pain, Fractures, Osteoarthritis, and more.
- Clinical tools used include NextGen electronic health records, with a focus on outpatient orthopedic caseloads.
- Dress code is Business Casual.
- No float rotation required.
- Candidate will manage approximately 50-55 patient visits per week, providing comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services.
